Clive Pettibone was the widower of Jessica Pettibone, the husband of Muriel Stacey, and the father of Izzy, Gordon, Arthur and Morgan Pettibone.
Clive once was a soldier in the Canadian Army. Later he was a teacher in the school of Avonlea and teached his children Izzy and Morgan. His other students included Sara Stanley, Gus Pike, Dora and Davey Keith, Felicity, Cecily and Felix King.
